About election judges
Election Judges play a vital role in our elections. They manage the poll site and have to be present all day. They hire the clerks who will be assisting them. They administer the oaths that must be taken by all election workers. If there are any provisional ballots, they sign them. They also authorize and sign the payroll and oath documents. Judges direct the clerks and assign their duties and hours. On the election day, the Judges have the power of District Court Judges and can call the Police on any disrupting individual.
